With over 35 years’ experience, Ian’s proven skills in property, commercial and company law are invaluable to his clients. Ian’s experience also covers trade practices, employment law and laws relevant to charitable institutions.

Using his intimate knowledge of the property industry, Ian creates outcome-focused results for his clients. His competencies range from advising on mortgage documents and commercial leasing to providing commercial and legal advice to small – medium sized businesses.

Ian’s involvement with churches is extensive, advising on commercial operations, structures and constitutions.

With knowledge extending to employment law and the health sector, Ian acts regularly on the purchase and sale of companies and associated assets in the education, not-for-profit, real estate, and, aged care sectors.

Ian’s community mindedness finds him assisting charities with commercial and trust arrangements, general advice, and, wills and probate administration. Ian is often involved in Supreme Court proceedings in relation to wills and estate matters.

In 2019, Ian was awarded an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for his service to the community through a range of organisations.
